Mohamed Rhouma is a veterinarian who graduated from the National School of Veterinary Medicine of Tunisia. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Pharmacology and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Universitéde Montréal. Since 2020, he has been a professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal. His research focuses on the characterization of antimicrobial resistance and virulence mechanisms in pathogenic bacteria associated with animal production, as well as on the optimization of antimicrobial dosing regimens in food-producing animals.
