Professor Odetokun is a Professor of Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is a globally recognised One Health researcher and academic, whose scholarly pursuits span antimicrobial resistance (AMR), infectious disease epidemiology, zoonoses, food safety, and public health surveillance. Currently, he serves as an Honorary Research Associate at the College of Health Sciences, University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Prof. Odetokun’s research excellence is evidenced by more than 135 peer-reviewed journal publications and over 27,000 citations on Google Scholar. His work continues to shape veterinary and public health practices across Africa and beyond, especially in the area of AMR.
